AFTON VILLAGE
MAIN STREET
TAKES SHAPE
Leasing at Afton Village's commercial district has taken off. Our first commercial building, the Foundry,
opened November 2002. The Chesterfield Building, a 27,000
square foot retail and residential structure, opened December
2003. The Exchange Building, Afton's third commercial building
opened June 2005. The Winchester Building, which opened in Spring 2006 features retail shops
on the ground floor and medical office space above.
In addition,
Afton Village's variety of townhomes provide a transition between
retail and the residential sections of Afton Village. Upon completion,
our commercial district will be 200,000 square feet subdivided
into retail, office, and civic uses (approximately the size of
three neighborhood shopping centers).
Afton Village's
commercial district offers many advantages to its tenants: pedestrian
friendly streets, proximity to surrounding neighborhoods, committed
anchors such as the YMCA and Northeast Medical Rehabilitation
Center, and the highest level of architectural and site plan character.
Several outdoor spaces such as the plaza at Meeting Square, European
kiosks, and the existing Village Green and gazebo will contribute
a unique charm and ambiance to this development.
Now that
the new George W. Liles Parkway is open, directions to the professional
offices and retail shops in the Village are as easy as..."Take
exit 54 off I-85 toward Concord, turn right into Afton Village
by the new YMCA and you'll see us on the your left."
Please contact
Afton Development Company at 704-791-2192 if you would
like to schedule a tour of the site or would like to submit a
commercial tenant proposal to the developers of Afton Village.
